With all the new changes, upcoming features and new products it can sometimes get a little confusing or overwhelming. So let’s take it back to some trusty features we see many of our customers utilising.Â
We’re going to be looking at when to use Dynamic Content and Snippets, some of you may have already seen that we’ve done a couple of blogs on similar topics before. However, this blog will help you to directly compare the two.Â
Before we get started, here are links to our previous blog posts:
Dynamic Content
Dynamic Content is a section of your email/landing page that changes based on criteria, this criteria is a field in Account Engagement that you can find on the prospect record. It can be a custom or default field, however a default value always needs to be created to ensure it’s never left blank.Â
Our previous blog on 3 Use Cases for Dynamic Content is a great starting point if you’re looking into using Dynamic Content. It covers setting it up, some common issues and runs through some use cases.Â
Snippets
A Snippet, which is a reusable piece of content, can consist of text, images, links, or dates, and you can add this to multiple places at the same time. You can easily update this content across many assets at once.Â
Another handy blog we’ve previously written: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle with Snippets! looks at how to create snippets, any prerequisites needed and use cases alongside things to note. It’s definitely worth taking a look if you haven’t already!
