London’s Calling 2022 was a resounding success, with plenty on offer for admins, developers, consultants, architects, and marketers alike. The event featured keynote speeches from some of the biggest names in the Salesforce community. Attendees could check out the latest products and services from leading Salesforce partners in the exhibition area.
Users from all over the world came together to share ideas, learn new things, and network with other Salesforce professionals. There were so many interesting sessions to choose from, and we came away with a wealth of knowledge that we can’t wait to apply to our own Salesforce implementations.
Team Nebula Presenting At London’s Calling 2022
We were privileged to present our knowledge, as Sarah (Customer Success Director), Zoe (Principal Marketing Automation Consultant) and Chris (Principal Salesforce Consultant) took the stage.
Sarah presented how to use Pardot’s multi-regional marketing capabilities to create a successful global marketing strategy. She highlighted the importance of embedded dashboards, business units, and Pardot Einstein to make sure that all stakeholders have visibility into the progress of the global campaign. Her presentation was well-received by the audience and provided valuable insight into how businesses can use Pardot’s features to go global. To learn more from Sarah, check out her latest blog.
In her presentation, Zoe outlined the quest for marketing attribution and how to effectively measure the revenue generated by campaigns. She noted that it is essential to understand which marketing initiatives are driving ROI and attribute revenue to those channels. Without this data, it is difficult to make informed decisions about where to allocate resources. Zoe also emphasized the importance of using multiple attribution models to get a more complete picture of how campaigns are performing. You can hear more from Zoe in her latest blog about Slack integration for MC Account Engagement.
Chris gave an excellent presentation on how to build powerful CRM analytics dashboards using only the click of your mouse. His insights were pivotal to the success of many businesses while providing real-world examples that everyone could understand. By breaking down the process into easy-to-follow steps, Chris made it simple for all the attendees to learn how to create their own custom dashboards. Check out his latest blog to learn more about it.
The Experience :
Here’s what Sarah had to say about London’s Calling, “It was so great to see the Salesforce community come together again at such a vibrant event. The whole day was a testament to the passion for the ecosystem and I’m really grateful to have had the opportunity to present this year. I learned a lot and especially enjoyed the diverse mix of ideas, products and people represented. My top takeaway was how to use storytelling to make a great demo!”
This was Doug’s key takeaways when asked about the event: “I thought it was a great event, more sessions than previously. I know they are considering 2 days as a possibility in the future which is interesting. The main technical learning takeaway for me was from Zoe regarding the use of campaign influence. The main non-technical takeaway was the chance to meet clients new to Salesforce and see their shock at the love the ecosystem has for the product.”
Finally, Aidan had this to say about the event, “I really enjoyed it. Every single time slot had something worth seeing. It was so good to see old faces, new faces, and some that I’d only ever seen virtually until now. The tech takeaway for me was that Pub/Sub API looks really good. I’ve read the source code of a CometD client, and with gRPC replacing it. I’ll be glad to never read CometD code again. Event-based architectures are definitely coming!”
Ending London’s Calling 2022 On A High Note:
Needless to say, the networking opportunities were also fantastic. We had the chance to meet people from all over the world who share our passion for salesforce. We made some valuable connections that we know will help us grow our business. Overall, London Calling was a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to attend again next year!
